DIY Poetry & Social Justice Art Gallery

Poetry helps us process trauma and produce something meaningful and beautiful. Engage the entire family in creating your very own art museum, and share your photos or videos with us via LinkedIn or Instagram

Guidelines:

o Select a social issue that interest you.

o Draw a picture, make a sculpture out of household objects or create a digital collage that represents your social issue.

o Arrange the artwork in an area of the house designated as your family "gallery"

o Explore the gallery and select a piece that you like

o Use your piece as inspiration to write a 14 line poem or haiku

o Lastly, pop some popcorn and share your poems in an open-mic style reading!
